One of the biggest changes you’ll notice is that the 2021 Fiesta has been given a new front end, the bonnet line is now taller and a larger grille sits on the front with the Ford logo in the centre just like with earlier Fiesta models. Plus LED headlights will now be standard across the whole range.
There will three trim levels available, the Trend, Titanium and ST-Line. The Trend model is your basic Fiesta, the Titanium version has more tech and the ST Line is fitted with a much sportier body kit and extra horses.
There will be three versions of the 1.0-litre EcoBoost engine to choose from, the entry-level 99bhp unit, a 123bhp unit and 153bhp versions which come with 48v mild-hybrid assistance. This essentially sees a battery tacked on to help cut the engine earlier when coming to a stop and keeping the start/stop system running longer. Ford claims the entry level can reach 45.2mpg and the hybrid up to 48mpg.
The Fiesta will be available with a six-speed manual and the 123bhp EcoBoost version can be had with a seven-speed dual-clutch auto. Every Fiesta has Eco, Normal and Sport drive modes and, despite not having all-wheel drive, the Active trim also has Trail and Slippery modes.

The Fiesta ST comes with a more powerful 1.5-litre EcoBoost that churns out 198bhp and is capable of hitting 100km/h in 6.5 seconds.
As for the interior little has changed except for an upgrade in tech. The Fiesta now has digital dials like the Puma and you can change the colours and design depending what mood you’re in. New features include ‘Local Hazard Information’, which alerts you to upcoming dangers on your route and ‘Wrong Way Alert’. Ford also says that the new 2021 Fiesta is now part of its FordPass app, allowing you to track and remotely control your car.
