New 2022 Fisker Electric SUV Unveiled In Barcelona

Fisker has officially launched its new Ocean SUV at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. This new electric SUV is due to start production in November 2022, with the first deliveries arriving in European markets shortly afterwards.
This EV SUV boasts a beautifully crafted vegan interior with upcycled materials throughout. The eco-friendly cabin features carpets and interior details made from recycled plastic bottles, repurposed rubber waste, worn-out t-shirts and abandoned fishing nets pulled from the ocean.
The Fisker Ocean SUV will be available with a choice of three powertrains, Sport, Ultra and Extreme.
The Sport models will have a front mounted single electric motor which produces 271bhp and has a 0–100km/h time of 6.9 seconds. The Ultra models will have an additional electric motor on the rear axle, which gives the SUV a much higher 533bhp and greatly improves the 0–100km/h time to a much faster
3.9 seconds. But for those who wish to travel at ludicrous speed there is the range-topping Extreme model which can accelerate to 100 km/h in just 3.6 seconds.

On a full charge the Sport model has a range of about 440 km, the Ultra around 610 km and the range topping Ultra can go just a little bit further at 627 km. To help keep the batteries juiced up the Ocean has a revolutionary full-length SolarSky roof which uses the sun’s rays to generate free
energy to support the vehicle’s battery-powered motor. It is estimated that the SolarSky can produce between 1,500 and 2,000 clean, emissions-free miles per year.
As for the interior, as standard you get an enormous 17.1-inch infotainment system which can be turned giving you the option between portrait or landscape mode. There is also clever assistance technology such as a digital rear-view mirror and traffic light recognition system. The mid-range and Ultra models will feature an upgraded stereo, a 360-degree view camera, a reverse collision mitigation and a special California Mode setting which lowers the door windows and tailgate window and opens the sunroof turning the SUV into a coastline cruiser.

To intice new customers the Fisker Ocean will come with a six year warrenty but unfortunatly will only be available in a select few European countries at the start of production. Uk is lucky enough to be one of the chosen few. The Fisker Ocean Sport costs £34,990 aand the range topping Ultra will set
you back £59,900.

Who Are Fisker
Fisker is a relatively new American electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer, founded in 2016. The company’s first production car is the Fisker Ocean, an all-electric SUV that is scheduled to go into production in late 2022. - Fisker PEAR: The Project PEAR (Personal Electric Automotive Revolution) is a new affordable electric vehicle that is currently in development. The PEAR is expected to be priced at around $30,000 and to have a range of up to 300 miles on a single charge.
Fisker is also exploring new battery technologies and working on plans for a global manufacturing and sales network. The company’s goal is to become a leading player in the sustainable electric vehicle market.
